Today, you step into the world of the Dutch royal family. At Paleis Het Loo, an immersive audio tour leads you through stately rooms and brings the people who once lived, ruled and welcomed their guests here vividly to life.

Have you ever imagined enjoying high tea in a real palace? Today, you will. A royal high tea awaits: beautiful china, sweet and savory treats and, above all, time to pause and take it all in.

In the afternoon, you trade the palace rooms for the outdoors. On a guided e-bike tour, you ride through the green estate, with light filtering through the trees and space all around you. A wonderful balance of grandeur and freedom.

At the Dutch Open Air Museum, you do not simply look at history; you walk right through it. Windmills turn, craftspeople work and historic buildings from every part of the country come together to create a living portrait of the Netherlands.
